HEATING
The underfloor heating ducts work by convection and are used as the main heating for those rooms that need to be heated to a high temperature quickly.
They are particularly suitable for application in low temperature rooms with large walls exposed outdoors, or with big windows.
Thanks to the presence of an inner fan, the duct draws air from the floor level, heats it by pushing it through a battery and then releases it again into the room directing it to the vertical cold surface.
This flow of warm air avoids the formation of condensation upon the glass surfaces.
COOLING
A particular model of duct can be also used for cooling during the summer season; it draws warm air from the area close to the glass windows and doors, then cools it inside the heat exchanger, and finally releases it again into the room.
During the air cooling, part of the steam inside the air is condensed, thus reducing the humidity level and contributing to better conditions of comfort.
GRILL COVERINGS
The duct is covered by decorative iron grilles treated with shot-blasting, rust resistant coating and a double layer of painting. The decorated grilles are available in three different styles and perfectly fit around the perimeter of the conservatory
